Frequently asked questions
How much does a birthday at Alfazone cost and what does it include?
Packs are priced per guest and include everything: the activity with marshals, party food with drinks and crisps, invitations, a group photo and a room for the cake. The laser tag pack starts at €16.90 (minimum 6 guests) and the virtual reality and combo packs at €23.90 (minimum 4-6). Weekends, holidays and their eves cost slightly more. No surprises: you know the price before you book.
How many guests do I need as a minimum?
With 4-6 guests we can set up the birthday, depending on the pack. At the top end there is almost no limit: the laser tag arenas take up to 60 players, so the whole class fits.
What ages does it work for?
Laser tag works great from age 6-7, and virtual reality from 8-10 depending on the game. Teens have their own plan (nothing childish) and adults celebrate their 18th, 30th or 40th here: each age has its own page and its own proposal.
Do parents have to stay during the birthday?
No need: the marshals run the activity and keep the pace from start to finish. Anyone who wants to stay can wait comfortably in the café area and watch snack time.
Can I bring my own cake? What about allergies?
Yes: you can bring your own cake or order it from us when booking. Tell us about allergies and intolerances when you confirm and we adapt the food so no guest is left out.
What if it rains or the weather is bad?
It makes no difference at all: the whole of Alfazone is indoors and air-conditioned. It is the perfect plan B that is actually a plan A.
How do I book and how far in advance?
You confirm with a €30 deposit that comes off the total, by phone, WhatsApp or the website form. Weekends fill up fast: we recommend booking 1-2 weeks ahead, but if you have left it late, ask us anyway.
Does it make sense for a 30th or 40th birthday?
Absolutely: it is one of the plans people repeat the most. Laser tag rivalry like the arcades of your childhood (now with better technology), virtual reality that surprises even the biggest sceptic, and evening opening on Fridays and Saturdays to link up with dinner. Nobody needs to be a gamer: the marshals explain everything before you start.
Won’t the teens get bored?
It is exactly the age when Alfazone hooks people the most: real competition with a final ranking, laser tag in neon mazes, VR with games they already know and photos they will actually want to post. Zero kids’ entertainment.
Can ages be mixed (cousins, siblings, family)?
Yes. Game modes adjust to the group: we can balance teams, lower the intensity for the little ones or set up parents versus kids, a classic that never fails.
Can laser tag and virtual reality be combined?
Yes, and it is the favourite pack of teens and groups who want to try everything: part of the time in the maze and part in the VR zone, with the food in the middle or at the end.
